Eligibility Requirements:

ExchangeGuard is available to non-U.S. citizens who are at least 14 days of age and under
age 65, and who hold a valid J-1, J-2, F-1, F-2, or F-3 visa, and who are eligible for
coverage outside of their home countries, except as provided under home country coverage,
under this plan.

Coverage Start Date and Coverage End Date
|
Your coverage becomes effective on the latest of: the date we receive your application and
correct premium, the moment you depart from your home country, or the date you request
on your application.
|
Your coverage will end on the earliest of: the end of the period for which you have paid a
premium, the date requested on your application, or the moment of your arrival upon return
to your home country (unless you have started a benefit period or are eligible for home
country coverage).

Co-Insurance Percentage:
|
80%/20%: WorldTrips will pay 80% of eligible expenses after the deductible, up to the maximum limit per injury / illness; or
|
100%: WorldTrips will pay 100% of eligible expenses after the deductible, up to the maximum limit per injury / illness.
|
Coverage Amount
|
The maximum amount of coverage per injury/illness. The lifetime maximum limit is $5,000,000.
|
Deductible
|
The dollar amount of eligible expenses, specified in the Schedule of Benefits and Limits that
you must pay per certificate period (for $0, $250, or $500 deductibles) or per incident (for
$100 deductible) before eligible expenses are paid by WorldTrips.

Passport
|
If you require a confirmation of coverage letter and wish for your passport number to be
included, you may enter it in the field provided. After purchasing your policy, the letter will
be available for download in PDF format through WorldTrips's Member Portal at worldtrips.my.site.com/MemberPortal.
If you do not have your passport number available at this time, you may enter it in Member Portal
prior to downloading the document.

ID Cards
|
Email only: You will receive an online copy of your fulfillment and ID card(s) to download
once the application has been processed. An email will also be sent to you with this
information.

download once the application has been processed. An email will also be sent to you with
this information. A hard copy of your ID cards will be sent to the address you listed on the
application. ID cards are sent out within 2 business days.

Beneficiary
|
The individual named in the Member's application to be the recipient of any Accidental
Death or Common Carrier Accidental Death benefit.
